Our Leadership

Our organization is 75% trans-led, with most leaders identifying as transgender and non-binary individuals of color. This ensures that those most affected by mental health disparities guide our work.

  • Intersectional Leadership: We address challenges at the intersection of race, gender, and sexual orientation, ensuring our programs are rooted in lived experiences.
  • Leadership Focus: Led by Alice, a trans woman of color with over 4 years of advocacy for LGBTQ youth of color.
  • Community Representation: Our board includes trans and non-binary leaders of color who drive culturally competent programs.

We are committed to addressing the unique needs of LGBTQ youth of color, ensuring no one is left behind.

About Us

Empowering LGBTQ Youth of Color
for Inclusive Mental Health

  • Our Mission
  • Our Vision
  • Our Priorities

We envision a Missouri where LGBTQ+ youth can live authentically, without fear of discrimination or marginalization, and access the mental health support they deserve in every community from St. Louis to Kansas City, and throughout our rural areas.

Our mission is to reduce mental health disparities among LGBTQ+ youth in Missouri by providing accessible, inclusive, and culturally competent mental health services. We work to build resilience, create safe spaces, and advocate for policies that support the mental health and well-being of youth across Missouri who face intersectional challenges.

Provide mental health services that are both inclusive and culturally competent across Missouri. Advocate for systemic change in Missouri's healthcare system to dismantle barriers that prevent LGBTQ+ youth from accessing the care they need. Build community resilience through safe spaces, peer networks, and leadership development in both urban and rural Missouri communities.
